Purple Day
Purple Day is a global grassroots initiative aimed at raising awareness about epilepsy. Each year on March 26th, individuals in various countries are encouraged to wear purple and organize events to support epilepsy awareness. Last year, participants from over 85 countries across all continents took part in Purple Day activities. Here in New Zealand, many events were hosted at workplaces, homes, and schools. Throughout March, purple was frequently seen as a show of support.
