🌟 Partner Shout Out: Foundation North 🌟

We are thrilled to acknowledge the generous support of Foundation North. Their funding contribution towards the refit of our accessible bathroom is a vital step in ensuring this vessel can provide truly accessible Ocean Adventures.

The Access to Adventure vessel is now undergoing refurbishment, and we are thankful to Norsand and our partners for their ongoing support. Their contributions are crucial to the project's success. With almost $200,000 raised, we have made significant progress, but we still require more funding to reach our goal. We acknowledge and appreciate the support we have received and are committed to delivering accessible ocean adventures.

We would like to extend congratulations to Pebbles, the winner of the raffle held at the Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser this Sunday. The event was a huge success, raising over $1,100 for the fit-out costs and paving the way for the boat's launch. A big thank you to everyone who participated and showed interest in our cause. The community's support has been fantastic. Special thanks to Bunnings Whangarei, tlc4u2, Chris from Positive Systems, Pacific Rim, Elinor, Mere, Ruaidhri and his family, and Gavin and Jan for their contributions.

A heartfelt thank you to tlc4u2 for their incredible support of Accessible Ocean Adventures.

Not only did tlc4u2 generously sponsor the purchase of our boat, helping turn a vision into reality, but they continue to stand alongside us as a valued partner in bringing accessible ocean experiences to our community.

Their partnership is helping create opportunities that redefine what's possible, proving that when access is prioritised, more people can experience the freedom and adventure of the ocean.
We are deeply grateful for their ongoing support and belief in our vision.

Thank you, tlc4u2 — we couldn't do it without you! 💙⚓🌊

The story of our logo:

“The smaller wave represents the challenges and adversity faced at the start of a journey. The middle section represents the freedom experienced when true accessibility is achieved, shown through a person in a wheelchair fishing. The larger wave represents growth, and the ripple effect created when people are given access to opportunity, adventure, and freedom without limits”. - Jamie Tapp

A huge thank you to Jamie for creating this logo, and to Sarah Moon, graphic designer, for bringing these ideas and vision to life.

It truly reflects our mission: Making the ocean accessible to all and transforming lives.

Great day here at Bunnings Whangarei! We look forward to seeing you there!
