Out and about in Whangarei tonight to check out three city landmarks lit up in Orange to mark the beginning of MS Appeal Week. There will be another repeat on Sunday 20th September.

Here is the front page story in the Advocate this morning, and also appeared in the NZ Herald. Great to see such positivity from Rebekah, who tries to find the 'silver linings' from having MS.
A great way to begin the annual MS awareness week, along with the Whangarei Canopy Bridge, Cameron Street Canopy, and the Gum tree in Forum North carpark all being lit up Orange this evening and again on Sunday 20th marking the end of appeal week. Look out for the MS Collectors at Pak n Save, and Mitre 10 Whangarei this Friday 18th September, and at New World Regent on Saturday 19th. Your donation will help to support those living with MS here in Northland. Thank You.

Then and Now.
A wet and damaged MS Office (with shoring timber holding up what remained of the ceiling) in the old Municipal Building following the 2019 fire, and the repair work progress. 7 years on and the restoration work finally completed. Building officially opened in April and now waiting on the WDC to finalize paperwork to enable Northland MS and other community organisations to return to their former Offices.
