Rocky Mountain track update! Looking good and upgrade is underway! Thank you to everyone that has donated to make this possible.

The Rocky Mountain upgrade is progressing well. Thank you to everyone that has already generously donated, we are very grateful for the support of our wonderful community. We have been fixing up the muddy and slippery sections and have installed some steps to make it more pleasant and durable for the future!

Rocky Mountain progress

Cameron Creek track and Cardona River works.

The project is the Regional council (ORC) going into the Cardrona river to do some chanelling to manage erosion of the land near the Cameron creek track. This is great to see and will assist in keeping public access on the track open for years to come. council have had to reroute it once and this should protect it for some time. It will be disruptive and look a bit full on for a bit but will be great work. Thanks for ORC for being responsive to managing this issue.

With 50km, 21km and 11km options, Ultra Wanaka is all about experiencing our world-class trails and the stunning Wanaka landscape that connects them.
