It was a really special to welcome two fluffy friends to Wild School today - Dragon and Daisy! Our pets are really precious to us, and a few studies have shown they can help bring calm to little hearts (and big ones too!)

We had resident artists painting in the delightful morning light. Our afternoon was filled with thinking and research about floating, how much water bark can absorb, as well as different types of splashes. A day well enjoyed!

What did you do at Wanaka Wild School?

We appreciated a duo of fantails serenading us, we created nature potions, we observed textures in various leaves, we crafted boats and tested them in the lake, we worked as a team, we helped our core strength increase by climbing trees, we laughed with our friends, we shared our ideas. We soothed and stilled ourselves on the hammock. We learnt that we each have unique strengths. We played. We grew. We felt alive!
