Ponsonby Playgroup Ponsonby Community Playgroup is a friendly place for parents/caregivers and their children to meet and play. We are open on Tuesday mornings 10am - 12pm.

It’s playgroup day!

Lots of fun in store….we have some fun sensory bins with rice, Pom poms and feathers for little hands to explore. We have pasta and otees threading and some fun with pipe cleaners.
Music is at 11:15 brought to you by our very own Music Man, Antonio.

Ponsonby Playgroup Day is here, and you know what that means……a day filled with playdough, crafts, reading corner, sensory play, soft play, imaginative play, outdoor play and more.
To top it all off, Antonio, our very own music man, will be stopping by at 11:15am for some music fun.

Today is everything Dinosaurs 🦕 🦖
We have fun dinosaur sensory trays, imaginative play with huge dinosaur figurines, dinosaur colouring in and more!

Ponsonby Playgroup is on today at 10am!
The little ones will be making Mother’s Day cards to take home. Please bring an extra change of clothes along as there will be hand paint printing (as well as some outdoor water play if it’s hot enough) 🖐️ 🌷
Put very own music man, Antonio will arrive at 11:15 for some music fun!

We have a fun then planned for playgroup this week……The Forest…… 🌳

We have some leaves to paint. Leaf prints, using leaves as stencils and colouring.
Also, some cones to paint. 🍃🌲

We have forest animal colouring in and foresty playdough. A couple cut-out puzzles will be laid out too. 🦌🍄

A set up with search-and-find books about forest animals, as well as story books with forest animals as characters. 📚

Our favourite music man Antonio will be arriving @ 11:15 for loads of music fun!🎶🪕

Ponsonby Playgroup is back!

Our theme for the week is The Farm! 🐷🐐🐰🐴🐓🐖

Tam is away so Mary will be coordinating for the next two weeks and has some lovely activities planned.
Stencilling, cutting, stickers, puzzles, playdough and farm animal footprint painting!
Antonio will get the minis grooving at 11:15am with his fun music session!

Hello everyone 🙂
I hope you are having a great holiday.

Please note that there will be no holiday playgroup tomorrow. Ponsonby Playgroup will restart next week, with the Russian Playgroup on Monday 20th and our Tuesday sessions resuming on the 21st.

Tam is away for the next two weeks but you will be in the capable hands of Mary who will be coordinating the sessions.

Enjoy the last week of the holidays, we can’t wait to see you next week 🙌

It’s almost time for our Playgroup Christmas Party!
We have lots in store for our cuties.
Cookie decorating, sensory bins, gingerbread playdough and there will be a fun Photo Booth set up. Come hungry……we have snacks, YUM!
Bring along hats and sunblock as we will be jamming along togther with our music man, Antonio, in the outside area.
COME DRESSED IN A SPLASH OF CHRISTMAS!

We’ve got a fun activity planned today!
The kiddies will be putting together Mr. Potato head and his family.
If the weather holds there will be outdoor/waterplay too so bring a change of clothes. Antonia the Music Man won’t be there today but Tammy will be entertaining the kiddies with a session of “Music 4 Mini’s”.

It’s almost playgroup time!
We have some fun colour sorting activities lined up for the littlies. If the weather holds we’ll venture outside for some water play.
Ofcourse our wonderful Antonio will arrive at 11:15 for some music fun! We cant wait to see you!
