A few weeks ago we welcomed Susy to the Greenstone Doors team! 💚
Susy is an NZAC registered counsellor with a degree in Counselling and Addictions from Weltec, as well as an honours degree in Psychology from the University of Loughborough in the UK, where she is originally from. Susy offers clients a holistic, kind and collaborative approach to counselling, along with a broad and in depth understanding of mental health.
She is a pluralistic counsellor trained in a range of approaches, including narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed stablisation therapy. She has a particular interest in parts work and somatic therapy. With three children, she brings an understanding of the challenges of family life to her counselling. She aims to walk alongside clients as they work to understand themselves and improve their wellbeing.
