Dementia Wellington provides support for people living with mate wareware dementia and their whānau & supporters across Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, including Kāpiti, Porirua, Central Wellington and the Hutt Valley. Dementia Wellington (formerly Alzheimers Wellington) works to support people with dementia and their carers, family and whanau in Kapiti, Porirua, Wellington and the Hutt Valley. As

a local charity, every dollar raised for Dementia Wellington stays in the wider Wellington region and goes directly towards helping local families affected by dementia to live well and remain active and engaged in our community. During June Dementia Wellington is hosting our Insights into Dementia education series in Central Wellington!

Every Monday of June at 11am-12.30pm a new session will be held at LifePoint Church. These sessions are completely free to the public and are presented by our subject matter expert Sheena. Each session covers different topics relevant to navigating a mate wareware dementia journey.
