Do you want to learn about managing your farm waste - from drench containers to silage wraps and vaccine packs?

A number of similar workshops have been held by catchment groups across Canterbury and Otago over the last six months. These have given their farmers a chance to share practical ideas, challenges and solutions with others facing the same issues – what’s working, what’s not, and what could be simpler when it comes to rural waste.

The workshop could include:
- frustrations and day-to-day challenges
- making processes easier and more practical
- Understanding available options for recycling and safe disposal

Including understanding proposed new government regulations and what they mean on-farm.

We can cover everything from recycling chemical containers, silage wrap and vaccine packs to what to do with hazardous items like batteries and engine oil.

If this is something you’d like us to host, please complete the short survey here: https://napier.wufoo.com/forms/q1p5zmjk0y7j5ol
