Native Plants - Mid Spring Sale

Our nursery is once again selling native plants grown from locally sourced seeds. They are in wonderful condition and offer excellent value.

The plants cost just $6 each (GST inclusive) unless otherwise noted on the order form and must be pre-ordered and pre-paid.

Pick up is in Havelock North on Saturday 17 October, between 10:30am and 12:30pm.

All proceeds go towards supporting our branch's other conservation projects including Blowhard Bush in the Kaweka Ranges.

Last week Friday, led by Te Piringa Hapū, we planted 3 varieties of prized weaving harakeke:

Kōhunga,
Tapamangu and
Tāpoto.

A big shout out to Ben Hunt @ District Council, Alex and Caleb @ Regional Council and to local heros Susan, Jack and Tony who helped us power through the planting and mulching of 145 flax at the Shanely Road Esplanade Reserve.

If you would like to be involved in helping to keep an eye on the planting over the summer, we would appreciate any help. Or if you would like to be involved in any other projects please flick us a message and register your interest.
