$20,000 raised!!

That’s what Tee21 2026 delivered thanks to an incredible day and an even better community behind it.

From everyone who showed up, played, supported, donated, and brought the energy… thank you so much. This is what happens when people get behind a cause that means so much to many of us.

These funds will go directly towards supporting speech and language therapy for children with Down syndrome through the UpsideDowns

A special thank you to Natasha Bousfield Real Estate for their support in helping make the day possible.

We can't wait to do it all again next year.

What a day!

Tee21 2026 brought the Hawke’s Bay community together in the best way - on the course, around the kids’ zone, and into the evening for UpsideDowns.

From teams showing up in full spirit (and socks), to kids having their first go at golf, to a packed prize giving and auction… it was a day full of energy, generosity, and genuine connection.

Most importantly, every dollar raised is going towards supporting speech and language therapy for children with Down syndrome through the UpsideDowns Education Trust - how amazing is that!

To everyone who played, sponsored, volunteered, brought their families, or supported in any way - thank you.

We're already looking forward to doing it all again next year.

Not just for the golfers! Tee21 is a day the whole community can enjoy - and that includes the kids.

From 3pm, the Kids’ Golf Zone opens with free golf lessons for young players, plus a family area with plenty to keep everyone entertained. Think bouncy castles, great food from Shani's Rib Truck , and plenty of space for the kids to have a go at golf while the tournament wraps up.

It’s all part of the Tee21 Charity Golf Day, raising funds for the UpsideDowns Education Trust, supporting speech and language therapy for children with Down syndrome.

Bring the family, enjoy the atmosphere, and be part of a day that makes a real difference.

Tee21 Charity Golf Day is back on Friday 27 March at Hastings Golf Club, and we’re inviting golfers across Hawke’s Bay to be part of a day that’s about more than just the scorecard.

Grab three mates, pull on your odd and colourful socks, and join us for a fantastic day on the course raising funds for the UpsideDowns Education Trust, supporting speech and language therapy for children with Down syndrome.

Expect a great Ambrose tournament, the kids’ golf zone from 3pm, and an evening of dinner, prize giving and charity auction.

Who is the UpsideDowns Education Trust?

UpsideDowns is a New Zealand charity dedicated to helping children with Down syndrome develop the communication skills they need to thrive. Since 2003, they’ve been funding essential speech and language therapy for Kiwi kids across the country - giving hundreds of children the opportunity to build confidence, connect with others, and fully participate in school and everyday life.

Speech therapy is widely recognised as one of the most important interventions for children with Down syndrome, yet regular, individualised sessions are not funded through the public education system. That’s where UpsideDowns steps in - helping families access the support their children need.

The impact is life-changing. Through community support and fundraising, UpsideDowns now helps hundreds of children across Aotearoa access therapy that strengthens communication, learning, social connection, and independence.

And that’s exactly what Tee21 Charity Golf Day helps make possible.
