Be the one to make a difference. Volunteering Hawkes Bay is an independent non-profit organisation that provides a service to all sectors in the community and volunteers. We place individuals into voluntary positions that provide opportunities for work experience, gaining new skills, new ideas and the chance to make a difference in the community. We pro

vide training in management of volunteers,organise networks for managers of volunteers and offer advice and consultancy services in the establishment of volunteer programmes. In addition we facilitate corporate volunteering to promote business involvement in the community and foster a more civil society. Refer volunteers to non-profit organisations

Provide advice and support to people to enable them to make suitable choices about volunteering

Work with non-profit organisations to establish, and develop great volunteer opportunities

Promote the interests of, and advocate on behalf of volunteers

Provide information about volunteering and volunteer management

Provide training for the management of volunteers

Promote National Volunteer Awareness Week, International Volunteer Day and the International Appreciation Day for Managers/Coordinators of Volunteers and any other occasions for celebration and recognition
