We focus on exchange that is practical, respectful, and grounded in everyday life — not politics or formal diplomacy.

Language, culture, tikanga, food, classrooms, conversations, and shared experiences are where trust is built.

That’s why Hongi works closely with communities, schools, iwi, and local partners in both New Zealand and China — with young people at the centre of everything we do.
