💛 A little RAD community reminder 💛

RAD is all about kindness, inclusion, community, and helping people keep rolling 🚲 We’re proud to be a welcoming space for so many awesome humans.

But lately, our lovely neighbours have been dealing with people knocking on doors, making requests, or hanging around outside of RAD’s open hours. That’s not fair on them, and it risks creating issues that could impact RAD’s ability to keep doing what we do.

So a gentle but important ask: please only visit RAD during our open hours, and please respect our neighbours’ businesses, space and time.

We work hard to keep RAD a safe, fun and welcoming place for everyone. That means people are only welcome to join our space when they’re in an appropriate state to do so too — kind, respectful, and lucid — so everyone can feel safe and enjoy being here.

The huge majority of our community absolutely nails this, and we’re so grateful 💚 Let’s all help protect the RAD kaupapa and the welcoming community we’ve built, so we can keep serving the 99% of legends who make this place so special.

We’re wildly grateful to Christchurch City Council Sustainability Fund for helping to strengthen our “Find a Bike” service!
Their support enables us to make more bikes more accessible to those most in need, plus collaborate more with social services to achieve more RAD impacts ♻️ 🚲 💚
