Selwyn Vegans are putting on a movie night this Saturday!

Come along to see The Sheep Detectives, followed by dinner at The Laboratory in Lincoln.

Tetra Pak recycling is back at the September Mākete (this Sat)!

We’re bringing back our Tetra Pak recycling for this weekend’s Mākete. If you have Tetra Pak cartons from plant milk at home, bring them along and help us reduce waste.

You do need to prep them before you arrive: cartons need to be clean, completely empty, opened out and flat, with the caps on.

Please hand them to the volunteer at the gate for inspection. We can’t accept cartons that aren’t properly prepared.

Vegan Night Mākete is on this Saturday 26 September, 5 till 8 pm at the Recreation and Community Centre in Hagley Park.

There’s quite a bit going on this month, with some interesting new stalls joining us alongside plenty of good vegan food.

Come along for dinner, a catch-up and a wander around the stalls. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re hungry, curious or just keen to see what’s is what.

We’re down to just 11 adult tickets, so if you’re planning to come, get booked in soon. You need a ticket to attend as the restaurant will only be open for buffet ticket holders at this time.

$40 per adult. All-you-can-eat vegan buffet, including home made cake!
