Parenting was never meant to be something you navigate alone. Sometimes, having the right support can make things feel steadier, calmer, and a whole lot more manageable. Parent coaching offers practical, thoughtful support tailored to your child, your whānau, and the challenges you’re facing right now. If things have been feeling hard lately, this could be the support that helps things feel a little lighter 💛

Big anger can feel really hard to navigate, for kids and for us.

But anger isn’t the problem, it’s often a signal that something feels unfair, overwhelming, hurtful, or too much.

Instead of shutting anger down, we can help our tamariki understand what’s underneath it and learn safe ways to express it.

Because the goal isn’t “don’t be angry.” It’s learning how to move through anger well 💚

New podcast episode 🎧
Sleep can feel like one of the biggest parenting challenges, especially in the teen years.
In this kōrero, Kate sits down with Keryn from Brainwave Trust to explore what’s actually happening in adolescent brains and bodies when it comes to sleep. Together, they unpack why teens are naturally wired for later nights, the social and biological factors shaping sleep patterns, and how whānau can support healthy sleep without turning bedtime into a battle.
This kōrero is practical, compassionate, and reassuring. Full of realistic ideas parents can actually use, not perfection.
And while the focus is on teens, there’s plenty here for parents of younger tamariki too 💛
