HRFC SGM, Friday, October 16th at 5PM in the clubrooms.

The meeting will include setting subs for the 2027 season, and it’s also a great opportunity to get involved with the committee and help shape the future of the club.

We’d strongly encourage and appreciate some new faces joining the committee. A few fresh ideas and an extra couple of helping hands can go a long way toward ensuring a bright future for our awesome little club.

If you’d like to know what being on the committee involves, reach out to us. We’re happy to have a chat and answer any questions.

🏉 2027 Senior Coach Announcement🏉

Congratulations to Richard Williams on his appointment as Head Senior Coach for the 2027 season!

Richard, or "Goat" as he’s better known around the club, has been a huge part of the club for many years and has strong ties throughout our rugby community. He has coached across all levels, from junior grades right through to Division 1, and most recently was part of our Colts coaching team for the 2026 season.

We have no doubt Richard will bring plenty of passion, experience and energy to the role, and we’re excited to see what he can achieve with the team in 2027. We wish him all the very best! 👏

A massive thank you also needs to go to Jadyin Law (Turtle) and his coaching and management team, Michael Eggers, Hereturikoka Knowles and Tia Tipoki, for their incredible effort and commitment over the past two seasons.

We’re sure this group won’t be going far, and we expect to see them still heavily involved with the team in one way or another, whether that’s returning to the field, helping out with coaching or management, or simply lending their experience and advice.

Thanks for everything.

Bring on 2027! 🔴⚪
