We are an umbrella organisation providing grant and administrative support to Sumner Community Garden, Sumner Orchard, Richmond Hill Berry Garden, Sumner Silver Band, He Mara Kai and the Sumner Playgroup. We look after our most vulnerable groups in the community by supporting weekly Music and Movement sessions in Redcliffs and Sumner with Loopy Tunes, as well as with our Older Persons Project; wit

h a weekly Tea and Talk and a monthly Happy Hour and cinema trip. Our Social Worker, Maree, looks after 25 clients in the Mount Pleasant through to Taylors Mistake providing wrap around support. What a wonderful way to kick of the Christmas festivities with our Annual Christmas Carols event held Dec 11th at Matuku takotako. We were fortunate to have the talented Sumner Silver Band and their conductor, Vicki, play carols for our community. Thank you to Nigel the Coordinator, the Trustees of Sumner Bays Union Trust, to Matuku Community Theatre group, Sumner Community Sumner Community Residents' Association & Hub affiliates and Sumner Sumner Redcliffs Anglican ChurchHarry Newton for also contributing on making the day very special. Also a special thanks to Santa, elves and our face painters from Fab Faces and special guests from Crowntastic. We hope everyone has a festive and safe holiday season! Merry Christmas!

We had the sweetest day as Pebbles Montessori preschool welcomed a group of wonderful elderly visitors from our community. They sang songs with the children, shared smiles, and created the most beautiful intergenerational moment. Our seniors absolutely loved it. 💛🎶
