💛300km Run For Women’s Refuge💜

It’s official: After 3 and a bit days Rhys Blissett and the Run For Change Team ran from Christchurch to Timaru and Back raising funds and awareness for Domestic Violence Towards Women & Children! 🙌

300 gruelling kilometres down the busiest highway in Canterbury, Rhys spent those days inspiring change!

“It was never about the distance, it was all about raising funds and awareness for domestic violence. Witch is a topic that is so under talked about and happens far to often in New Zealand” Rhys said.

As of now we have raised over $13,000 for Women's Refuge New Zealand and those numbers a still increasing! The 300km run was not easy for Rhys, but with experience with domestic violence throughout his childhood only fuelled him to keep pushing towards change for himself and the women & children of New Zealand! 🫶

We just want to thank everyone so much for the support along this journey it has been incredible seeing the community stand up against violence, and supporting Rhys when needed!

The 300km Run For Change is coming around faster than expected with only 10 more days untill Rhys Blissett, the young 18 year old will start his gruelling Run from Christchurch to Timaru and back along State Highway One, to Raise Funds and Awareness For Domestic Violence Towards Women & Children! 💛💜

With our Partner being Women's Refuge New Zealand, proceeds go towards supporting victims of domestic violence and prevention! ❤️

📣🚨Support Vehicle🚨📣

At Run For Change New Zealand, We take the saftey of our runner’s seriously! So we’ve invested into a First Responder Support Vehicle, that’s equipped with everything a runner will need during events aswell as being equipped with safety equipment to ensure the wellbeing of our participants! This Truck will be used for our upcoming 300km Run For Women’s Refuge, and will be tailgating the Runner (Rhys Blissett) down SH1 throughout those days! What do you guys think.
