We are a small charity trying to make a very big difference — and we rely heavily on the kindness and support of our community to continue helping animals in need.

The heartbreak when they are suffering.
The desperate feeling of wanting to help them… but not having the money.

That is why Angels Network NZ exists.

We are a small registered charity helping families and their beloved pets during emergency situations. Every message we receive is from someone scared, overwhelmed, and trying to save a member of their family.

Right now, we are struggling ourselves. Our funds are extremely low, and we are having to say no far more than we ever want to.

💔 This is one of the hardest posts we’ve ever had to make.

Lately, the number of messages coming into Angels Network asking for help with emergency vet care has been overwhelming.

And the heartbreaking part?

We are having to say no.

Not because we don’t care.
Not because the animals aren’t deserving.
But because our emergency vet fund has been completely exhausted.

Every day we are reading messages from frightened owners trying desperately to save beloved pets they adore. Some are already skipping meals, borrowing money, or trying to arrange payment plans just to give their animals a chance.

We have sat behind our screens in tears replying to people we genuinely wish we could help.

Nobody starts a rescue charity expecting the hardest part will be not having enough funds to say yes.

Angels Network NZ is a registered charity dedicated to helping animals and families facing emergency veterinary situations. Alongside financial assistance where possible, we also help share Givealittle pages and try to connect struggling families with support and visibility.

But right now, we need help too.

Without donations, we simply cannot continue helping the way we want to.

If every animal lover reading this donated even a few dollars, it could genuinely help save lives.

💔 Sometimes the difference between life and loss is simply whether a family can afford the vet bill.

Every single week, we receive messages from devastated pet owners desperately trying to help an animal they love with their whole heart.

People crying because their dog was hit by a car.
A cat needing emergency surgery.
An elderly pet suddenly becoming critically unwell.
Families trying to choose between paying rent, feeding their children… or saving their pet.

And the heartbreaking reality is this:

Many people are not irresponsible owners.
Many are simply good people facing impossible situations.

At Angels Network, we try to help where we can by assisting with emergency veterinary costs and sharing Givealittle pages to help families reach more people.

But right now… we are struggling too.

Our emergency vet fund has been completely exhausted due to the overwhelming number of urgent requests coming through. We are currently having to tell families we cannot help financially, and honestly… it’s heartbreaking. 💔

We need donations to continue helping animals in crisis.

They don’t understand bills — only love 🐾💔

When a pet is sick or in pain, they aren’t thinking about costs, payments, or numbers… they’re just looking to the person they trust most.

And that’s where it becomes heartbreaking for so many families. Because love is there. Care is there. But sometimes the finances just aren’t.

At Angels Network NZ, we see this far too often — good people doing everything they can, standing in that impossible space between “I need help” and “I can’t afford it.”

No judgement. Just understanding. Just compassion.

Because behind every request is a pet who only knows love… and a family trying their very best.
