During 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, a group of dedicated health professionals came together with a shared purpose, determined to make a difference, united under one name & mission: United Against Cancer.

Recently, we had the opportunity to visit .hospice e and see first hand the incredible care and support they provide to the Pukekohe community.

During our visit, we met a local family caring for their mother at home. It was a powerful reminder of how much support families need during these moments, and how Franklin Hospice is there every step of the way. Their team regularly visits patients, providing care, comfort, and guidance when it is needed most.

It made us incredibly proud to see the vehicle donated through United Against Cancer still out on the road, helping the team travel across the region to reach patients and families in their homes.

A special thank you to Maria, the Franklin Hospice team, and to Mana and her family for so warmly welcoming us into their home and sharing their story with us.
