There are over 6000 children in NZ who currently cannot safely live with their own families due to a variety of reasons such as violence, neglect and other traumas. When these children are removed from home they are not just being removed from their parents but from their siblings, pets, school and friends. Our caregivers are extraordinary people, who provide a loving home environment and stabilit

y for these children until they can return home to their whanau or a permanent caregiver. Lifewise specialise in these transitional, short-medium term placements (1-12 months). Our caregivers have regular training, a dedicated Social Worker and can access 24 hour support. Our caregivers are as diverse as our children and we believe in doing whatever it takes to make sure the kids in our care and our caregivers are happy, safe and supported.
