It's super exciting to see Waikato schools starting their planting season and enjoying some stunning winter days

9 Trees for Survival facilitators work with 57 schools across Coromandel, Hauraki, Matamata-Piako Hamilton, Cambridge, Waipā, Ōtorohanga and Taupo.

Waikato schools will grow and plant in excess of 40,000 native plants this year in gullies, dairy farms, bush blocks and rural-residential/ lifestyle blocks across the Waikato. It is great to get students out doors, engaging in rewarding activity that benefits us all! It was great to see students from Pokuru School Vardon School Te Awamutu Primary School St Josephs Fairfield - Hamilton and Rototuna Junior and Senior High Schools out on sites planting in the last week.
