As the search and clean up continues following the earthquake in Venezuela, we pray for the people, and agencies on the ground, helping in the effort.

The St Aidan's Charitable Purposes Group (who decide where our mission donations go) has made a donation from the Mission Shop income to Tearfund’s emergency campaign in Venezuela.

Our Advocacy at St Aidan’s group wrote letters in support of Đặng Đình Bách, so they are happy to hear about his release!

Vietnamese environmental lawyer Đặng Đình Bách has been released and reunited with his family. He should never have been imprisoned in the first place simply for his peaceful environmental advocacy. Amnesty International wishes him and his family a journey ahead filled with strength and peace. We will continue to support and stand in solidarity with him.

Our friends over at St Andrew's Epsom are hosting their Books, Bagels & Banter event this coming weekend!

Help rehome some quality second-hand books, grab a bagel and give back to the community. You could also attend one of their speaking slots, hearing from some great authors/writers.

Proceeds support the Auckland City Mission and other community outreach initiatives.
