✨ WATCH & WIN ❤️ One of the simplest ways to support your health? Eat more vegetables 🫛🥕🌽🥬🍆🥦🫑🫜🧅🥒

A higher intake of vegetables is linked with better digestive health, improved energy, and a lower risk of several chronic diseases, including some cancers.

Yet most people aren’t getting enough.

🎯 A good target: 5–6+ handfuls a day

Try this:
• Make veggies half of your plate at main meals
• Add them into everyday dishes
• Have ready-to-go snack options pre-prepared
• Include colourful veg in sandwiches and wraps
• Even add veggies into smoothies

💡 Frozen veg are just as nutritious and often more affordable

👉 Comment VEGUP and I’ll send you simple, low-cost ways to boost your veggie intake

➕ Let me know your favourite nourishing snack and you will be in to win the fresh n go bowl worth $74 too!

Competition ends Friday 5th June, 2026. NZ postage only.

Can you imagine a world free from cancer?

Our CEO Andrew Young was proud to represent Cancer Society Auckland Northland at last week’s Cancer Society Election Manifesto launch in Wellington, joining leaders and politicians from across the country to advocate for urgent action on cancer.

Held at Parliament, the event brought our Federation’s priorities directly to decision-makers, highlighting how Aotearoa must do more to keep pace with other developed nations on cancer outcomes.

With a clear challenge issued to all parties to step up, the launch reinforced the critical role government must play in improving prevention, access, and care for all New Zealanders.
