The winner of Miss Auckland will get automatic entry with fees paid to Miss New Zealand Ltd. She will also represent Auckland at Miss Global City. The rest of the top 5 will also receive discounted entry to Miss New Zealand in the following year.

What Does Our Entry Fee Cover? 💭

Transparency is really important to us — from costs to scoring (and yes, all contestants are welcome to request their scores at the end of the pageant).

So, what does your $500 entry fee actually go towards?

💖 Venue hire — all sessions including pageant bootcamp, pasarela training, rehearsals, pre-judging, and the grand final
💖 Venue extras — things to hep the final night flow for you and our guests
💖 Prizes — crowns, tiaras, flowers, and winners’ prizes
💖 Tech support — everything behind the scenes that makes you shine on stage
💖 Additional costs — our giant cheque, décor, and snacks for our finalists on the big night

And what else do you get as a Miss Auckland finalist?
👑 Photoshoots — headshots, creative shoots, and more
👑 Workshops — check out our workshops post for full details
👑 Mentorship & training — including how to walk confidently in heels!
👑 Sponsored products and services

We’ll also work hard alongside you to help secure sponsors to cover additional costs like your dress and heels, and provide guidance and training on how to do this yourself.

Another thing we think is important to know -
The Miss Auckland team are NOT PAID. We do this purely for the love it 💕 We keep our costs as low as possible (many other pageant opportunities cost upwards of $1,000), and we’ve structured the entry fee into instalments across the pageant to make it as manageable as possible for our finalists.
