Ambury Park Centre Inc Ambury Park Centre Inc - where horses help improve the lives of people with physical, emotional and mental challenges.

The Centre incorporates riding therapy, a secondary school & a vocational programme for 18+ transition to independent living. Ambury Park Centre for Riding Therapy was established in 1983 as a riding centre for people with disabilities. Since that time the Centre has developed a range of services including a school for students aged 13-18 and a full-time vocational training programme for adults over 18.

Keen to spend some up close and personal time with horses?
Do you have regular weekday availability and a reasonable level of fitness?
We have leading/sidewalking volunteer roles available for ages 16+ for our Remedial Riding Programme, supporting riders with diverse needs, tucked away in a beautiful pocket of Māngere Bridge.

A shout out to Phillip from PC Fixit (0800 PCFIXIT) who helps us out so patiently and tirelessly whenever we need computer or tech support. He doesn't have social media unfortunately so we can't tag him! He really is an awesome I.T. guy, and doesn't mind at all hanging out with us horse-mad folks ❤️
