Littlemore We receive baby items donated by community and donate these on to families with babies living in poverty, through collaborative partnerships. Volunteer with us!

We support families to nurture their babies and keep them warm and safe during the first critical year of life. HOW YOU CAN HELP

1. Donate your high quality pre-loved (or new) baby clothes and other baby items in person by dropping-in any Thur & Fri 9am-5pm. Sat 9-10am (except public holiday weekends) at:

• Storage King Grey Lynn, 300 Richmond Rd, Grey Lynn, Auckland.

• Storage King Takapuna, 19 Hillside Rd, Wairau Valley, North Shore, Auckland. See http://littlemore.co.nz/donate for a list of what you can donate. Please ensure all clothing and linen is freshly laundered before donating. We accept clothing up to size 1.

2. Donate items by post: Littlemore, C/- Storage King Grey Lynn, 300 Richmond Rd, Grey Lynn, Auckland 1021.

3. Don’t have any baby items to pass on or wish to make a financial donation - https://givealittle.co.nz/org/littlemore or https://littlemore.co.nz/help-fund-us/

5. Organise a collection drive at your office, school, daycare, coffee group, playgroup or in your neighbourhood...

WHY WE STARTED...
Laura Howard, an inspirational mother, founded Littlemore in 2013 (Auckland, New Zealand) after hearing a passing comment from her midwife about how some babies born in Auckland were sent home in baby-sized hospital gowns, as their families had no clothes for them. As a mum of a newborn herself, her heart was touched, and she knew she had to do something about it. We’re proud to be a volunteer-run not-for-profit organisation. Littlemore receive, sort and organise your good quality pre-loved (and new) baby clothes and other baby items, so they can be donated on to families with babies living in poverty and facing serious life challenges. Your donations will help ensure every family has the essential baby items they need to nurture their babies and keep them warm and safe during the critical first year of life. It’s also a great way to give your donated items a second life, share the joy of becoming a parent, and involve your family in thinking about recycling and giving to others. AWARDS...

Huge thanks to our donors who donate new leather shoes like these. Aren't they so cute!

❄️ 👣 As the days get colder, we remember that little feet need quality shoes to keep their toes toasty and warm. If you have any high quality pre-loved or new footwear suitable for babies , please consider donating to us right now. Every pair matters and will help to keep babies feet safe, dry and warm.

We accept shoes, slippers and trainers from birth through to 2 years of age. Most babies footwear is worn for a short period of time and can be passed down to a few babies due to being such high quality. If you're a business and would like to help, we'd love to hear from you. Please share and spread the word.

Thank you to Aleesha, Smilee Kay and the mums who responded to our callout for prem and newborn baby clothing. They collected donations from the community in Pukekohe and went to a lot of effort getting everything to our Grey Lynn depot. Fabulous teamwork ladies and thank you for bagging it in sizes and having it all clean. Our mums in hardship will be grateful for your kindness. Please share info about Littlemore baby charity, the need for help for our smallest babies is huge.

Huge thanks to our Littlemore community for responding so quickly to our request for capsules and car seats. We received lots of capsules and you helped to safely transport many newborn babies home from hospital.

We're still in need of regular car seats for 6 month+ babies who have outgrown their capsule. We have 8 families on our waiting list right now....and it's growing every week!👶 If you have a car seat that is no longer needed, please donate now.

Make a big difference to families living in hardship every day. Your donation will help to increase their independence, engage in community and assist them to attend important appointments. Please check expiry dates and clean/disinfect before donating. Please share far and wide. Thank you! ❤️

Shout out to for responding so quickly to our call-out for prem and newborn essentials. Huge thanks Maria for gifting a car load of beautiful merino baby things like onesies, prem clothing, swaddles, cardigans, hats, nappies and more. All thoughtfully washed, labelled and sorted into bags - ready to be gifted immediately to prem babies in need.

Every single item donated will make a big impact and keep our tiniest babies warm.❤

This tiny cutie is going home from the special care baby unit very soon. We urgently need a capsule and prem clothes to make sure bubs is safe and warm. Prem onsies are especially needed. We URGENTLY NEED lots of these to support new mums in desperate need. We have 7 families on our waiting list right now... and it's growing every week!

Essentials like these make a big difference to families living in hardship every day. Your donations will ensure they can safely transport their new baby home from hospital. You can help to increase their independence, build confidence, engage in community and assist them to attend important appointments like visiting their midwife, GP or other healthcare services. 🩺 It will give them the choice to go outside the home and make the most of some fresh air, visit the park, grab a few supplies and access further support through other support services if they wish. 🛒🌳

Please check expiry dates and clean/disinfect before donating.

Thank you .fono for taking some time out of your busy day to connect with some of our team. It was great to hear about the amazing work they do, supporting Pasifika and new migrant families with babies in need.

We shared valuable feedback, suggestions to improve the way we work collaboratively and success stories to celebrate the impact made. Strengthening partnerships enables us to respond to the evolving needs of our local communities.

They're ever so grateful for your precious donations and thank you enormously for supporting those doing it tough every single day. ❤🙏
