Exciting news, Sinterklaas is coming again . . .

On Saturday 5 December, 10am-12pm we will be hosting our annual Sinterklaas event at Holland House

Late Wednesday afternoon there was a wonderful opportunity at Holland House to meet and greet our new Ambassador Jacquelien Nienhuis. We'd like to extend our thanks to the Ambassador and Senior Consular, Jaco van der Walt, for visiting us.
We trust Jacquelien enjoyed meeting some of the Auckland Dutch Community at an informal gathering, and look forward to including her at future events during her New Zealand tenure. 🇳🇱🧡

🚨 MISSING! 🚨

At our gezellige Dutch Market today, we had some toys out for our little visitors to enjoy. One of these was a Giant Tumbling Tower, which was stored in a bag next to our Little Library to keep it out of the rain.

We think someone may have mistaken it for one of the free items from the Little Library and taken it home.

If that was you, could you please return it to us? It may have been an honest mix-up, and we’d be very grateful to have it back. 😊

The Giant Tumbling Tower belongs to the Auckland Dutch Club and the school, so we’d really love to have it back.

On Wednesday 23rd September, 5-7pm, join us in person at Holland House to welcome our new Ambassador! It's the perfect opportunity to personally meet Jacquelien Nienhuis, our new Ambassador. Drinks, nibbles, bitterballen en kroketten available.

The event is FREE TO ATTEND, but for catering purposes we do ask that you book your space by 20/9 through the Eventbrite link below, or send an email to [email protected] with your name and the number of people you will be bringing to the event.

There is roadside parking available - please leave parking right outside the venue for disabled people.

After an incredible 4 years strengthening ties between the Netherlands and New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Tuvalu, Kiribati and the Cook Islands, our Embassy staff is saying farewell to Ambassador Ard van der Vorst👋

Ambassador van der Vorst's leadership in building and strengthening relationships across New Zealand and the South Pacific cannot be overstated — from technical visits across the Pacific Islands and deepening trade ties, to supporting human rights and engaging with the vibrant Dutch community in New Zealand – Ambassador van der Vorst truly did it all.
