Alhamdulillah, we had a very positive and productive meeting with members of the Lovu Rifai Sheikh Aand Ratib Association (Lovu Public Rifae Ratib), including Molvi Tamim, to discuss the proposed Rifai Ratib programme in Fiji.

After a detailed and constructive discussion, Alhamdulillah, the Association agreed to work alongside SAMAR Group to host the 2026 Rifai Ratib on the proposed date of 26th December 2026.

Following the decision, members of the SAMAR Group Committee in New Zealand also joined us via phone call after their meeting to discuss the preparations, funding arrangements and other matters relating to the programme.

May Allah Ta‘ala place barakah in the planning, accept everyone’s efforts and allow the Rifai Ratib to be conducted successfully. Aameen.

Alhamdulillah, some moments from our Youth Conference 2026, organised in partnership with South Auckland Muslim Association - SAMA.

As the programme began later than scheduled, we were unfortunately unable to deliver a formal vote of thanks. We would therefore like to sincerely acknowledge and thank:

Our honoured chief guest, Hazrat Allama Syed Noorani Miyan Ashrafi Al-Jilani, for accepting our invitation and blessing the gathering with his presence and beneficial address, and Mustaaq Sheikh Sahab for making this possible.

Maulana Waseem Malik, Pesh Imam of Masjid Syeda Zahra, and Maulana Hafiz Qamrudeen, Pesh Imam of Jamia Masjid Al-Mustafa, for their valued presence and support.

The President of SAMA, Brother Rizwaan Khan, and the entire SAMA Executive Committee for supporting this initiative and helping make the conference possible.

The SAMAR Group Executive Working Committee and every volunteer who contributed their time and effort.

We also sincerely thank all our respected elders, brothers and youth who attended.

May Allah Ta‘ala accept everyone’s efforts, reward all those who contributed, and allow this conference to become the beginning of stronger and more consistent youth work throughout New Zealand. Aameen.
