Over Easter weekend, we hosted the South Island Leadership Development Training for our Gold cadets (Years 10–13), and they absolutely rose to the challenge! It was a full, inspiring weekend of learning, teamwork, and growth. We’re incredibly proud of this group; our young leaders are already showing just how capable they are.

Today we pause to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who served.
For St John youth, Anzac Day is a time to reflect on the values of respect, leadership, and community. Many of our cadets proudly take part in parades and services, standing alongside veterans and supporting their communities with dignity.
We are incredibly proud of the commitment our cadets show—not only today, but every day—serving others and upholding the spirit of service.
Lest we forget. 🌺

Our Otumoetai cadets are working hard on their Caring and Child Development badges, building their skills and confidence in looking after others. From learning how to support young children to understanding the importance of empathy and responsibility, it was great to see everyone getting involved and giving it their best.
Lots of teamwork, plenty of laughs, and some really thoughtful discussions along the way - exactly what divisional nights are all about!
Ka pai to all our cadets for their effort and enthusiasm 👏
