On Friday 24 April, join veterans, whānau, and the wider community for an unforgettable evening honouring all members and veterans of the New Zealand Defence Force.

We will remember them at the Art of Remembrance 2026, an annual musical night of remembrance in the Great Hall of Kāhui St David’s, Auckland’s living memorial.

A big thank you to those who joined us at this morning’s Quarterly Meet & Greet. It was great to catch up, connect, and enjoy a relaxed start to the day together.

We were definitely lucky with the weather, with the sun shining for us in the morning before the afternoon downpour rolled in.

We always appreciate the time you take to be part of our community. We look forward to seeing you at the next one.

A big (belated) thank you, Grafton.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined our first Community Clean-Up of 2026 - even if this post is a little delayed, the impact certainly isn’t.

Together we:
🗑️ Filled two 2m³ garden waste flexi bins
🌧️ Focused on the Carlton Gore Rd, Claremont St & Park Ave intersection - a known flood-prone area
🧹 Cleared drains and piled up tree cuttings on Glasgow Tce
🌿 Gave the Carlton Gore Rd side of the hedge at the corner of Carlton Rd & Park Ave a big tidy-up, opening up the footpath space

We’re also very grateful to Alex Bonham, Chair of the Waitematā Local Board, for coming along and getting stuck in. It’s always fantastic to see members of the Local Board and Council supporting our events in such a hands-on way.

A special thank you as well to the Waitematā Local Board and Auckland Council for their ongoing support of our community clean-ups - we couldn’t do this without you.

Thanks again to everyone who helped, it’s amazing what we can achieve together for our community.

Thank you, Grafton

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our End of Year Christmas Party - it was a wonderful way to wrap up the year together as a community.

This was our final event for 2025, and we’re so grateful for all the support, energy, and neighbourly spirit throughout the year.

A special thank you to Sarah Trotman from the Waitematā Local Board and Bevan Chuang from Auckland Council for attending and supporting our community.

We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2025 for another great year of Grafton community events.

Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday season.
