Our aims:

To provide an environment where current and alumni Master of Audiology students at the University of Auckland are able to connect across year levels through social and networking events organised by the association. To present as a unified student body representing the voice of the students. To advocate for and promote hearing and balance healthcare in professional practice and in the

general public. To increase awareness of the clinical programme amongst students. To educate on clinical practice of Audiologists including (but not limited to) responsibilities as an audiologist, areas of specialisation, and scope of practice. To foster inter-professional relationships with allied health professionals to enhance patient centred care. To stay engaged with the latest research in Audiology and educate on the Best Practice Guidelines in accordance with those set out by the New Zealand Audiological Society. Did you know that cCMV can be spread through contact with saliva and other body fluids? One simple way to help reduce the risk is by regularly cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, especially around young children.

Small actions can make a big difference in protecting pregnant women and babies from congenital CMV.

💥 Clubs Expo was a BLAST! 💥

The team had an awesome time talking to everyone, showing people the insides of their ears 👀👂and playing our games 🎧 We loved connecting with people and getting to share what MASA is all about 🫶🏻

It was also extra special celebrating World Hearing Day this week! 🌎 It was the perfect time to spread awareness about hearing health and why looking after your ears is so important👂

Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth and supported us! 💜 You guys made the day so fun 🤩 and we hope to see you all at our upcoming events! (First one is on Monday sign up now 👀🙂‍↕️)
