On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Navksh*tij organised its annual Street Play Awareness Programme with the support of Emcure Pharmaceuticals. For the last 15 years, this initiative has been spreading social awareness through the powerful medium of street theatre.

This year, our special friends from Marunji presented "Swachhta Hech Seva" at Shivaji Chowk, Hinjewadi, while our Talegaon team performed "Vyasanmukti Abhiyan", creating awareness about cleanliness and an addiction-free society.

We thank Hande Sir and Sonawane Sir from the Hinjawadi Police Station, and Shri Ganesh Londhe (Assistant Police Inspector, Talegaon Traffic Division) for gracing the occasion and encouraging our special friends.

Together, we continue to spread awareness, inclusion, and positive social change.

On September 29, our special friends had a wonderful opportunity to participate in the anniversary celebration of Henkel Adhesives Technologies India Pvt. Ltd.

Henkel has been a valued partner of Navksh*tij, supporting us not only through financial contributions but also by actively engaging with our community through employee engagement programmes, plantation drives, and inclusive activities.

🌟 Success Story – Kaushik Rajendra Vaidya 🌟

At Navksh*tij, we believe that with the right opportunities and support, every individual can reach their full potential. Kaushik Rajendra Vaidya’s journey is classic proof of this.

For the past two years, Kaushik has been working at RPG Company, where his dedication, consistency, and hard work have made a significant impact on the production process. His eagerness to learn and commitment to excellence earned him a well-deserved promotion: the responsibility of operating the Vibro Machine.

Taking on this new role, Kaushik continued to demonstrate remarkable skill, accuracy, and efficiency. His outstanding performance helped achieve record production levels, once again proving his capabilities and determination.

In recognition of his exceptional contribution and commitment, RPG Company honored Kaushik with a special gift on September 22, 2026.

For seven joyful days, from Ganesh Sthapana to Ganesh Visarjan, Navksh*tij celebrated the Ganesh festival with great devotion and fervour across all three centres.

This year's festival was much more than daily aartis and prasad. It became a beautiful opportunity to bring everyone together and strengthen our inclusive community. Our special friends, staff members, parents, donors, doctors, police officers, well-wishers, and community supporters participated enthusiastically in our celebrations.

The festivities included rangoli competitions, musical chairs, games, and fun activities for both staff and our special friends, with prizes awarded to encourage participation and joy. Each day brought people together over prayers, laughter, and a variety of delicious prasad while keeping health and well-being in mind.

Special highlights included a Satyanarayan Puja at the Asawali Centre and a soulful bhajan program by a local Bhajani Mandal at the Talegaon Centre.

As we bid farewell to Bappa with gratitude, happiness, and a touch of emotion, we cherish the memories created and the bonds strengthened during these seven memorable days.

On September 17, a group of employees from Hyatt Place Pune Hinjewadi visited Navksh*tij as part of their World Care Social Responsibility initiative. The team donated essential items and spent quality time with our special friends, creating moments of joy, inclusion, and meaningful connection.

The day was filled with smiles, interaction, and shared experiences that made everyone feel valued and celebrated.

On September 8, engineering students from Alard College visited Navksh*tij as part of their Community Engagement Activity. They conducted an engaging and interactive session for our special friends in two parts.

The first focused on diet awareness, the benefits of yoga, and the importance of regular physical exercise. The second included fun games and a short yoga practice session, helping participants understand healthy lifestyle habits through hands-on activities.

The activity to mark the conclusion left a deep memory for everyone present. The students drew a tree and our special friends added their thumb impressions as leaves, creating a beautiful symbol of growth, unity, and inclusion.

The day ended with smiling faces, cherished memories, and a joyful group photograph.

Thank you to the students and faculty of Alard College for spending this meaningful time with us and making the day so special. 🌳💚😊

Happy Ganesh Chaturthi! 🙏✨

On September 14, we celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi across all our centres with great enthusiasm and joy. Our special friends eagerly await this festival every year, as it is one of the biggest and most loved celebrations in Maharashtra.

For the past 5–6 days, everyone has been actively involved in preparations and decorations. Today, Lord Ganesha's idol was welcomed with music and celebration, followed by the installation ceremony and puja. Our special friends sang aartis, devotional songs, and participated wholeheartedly in the festivities.

The celebrations have just begun, and the joy will continue for the next seven days. May Lord Ganesha bless everyone with happiness, health, and prosperity.

Learning, Connecting and Growing Together Through Art ✨

On August 26 and 27,, we had the pleasure of welcoming a team from Snehadhara Foundation to Navksh*tij for a two-day workshop on Art Practices for Inclusion (API).

The first day was spent with our special friends from Marunji and Talegaon. Through simple, art-based activities, they explored creativity, expression, participation, and moments of calmness. It was wonderful to see them actively engage in the activities, enjoy the process, and connect with one another in new ways. The experience also gave us several ideas that we hope to adapt and incorporate into our own programmes in the future.

The second day focused on our staff members, including caregivers, special educators, and support staff. The sessions were not packed with lectures or presentations —they were about experiencing inclusion together. We drew, sang, danced, reflected, shared stories, and participated in activities that encouraged everyone to get involved. The Snehadhara team thoughtfully created a circle where every voice mattered and every participant felt included.

One of the most valuable takeaways was the importance of self-care. As caregivers and professionals, we often focus on supporting others, but these sessions reminded us that caring for ourselves is equally important if we are to continue supporting our special friends with empathy and energy.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire *Snehadhara Foundation* team for creating such a warm, thoughtful, and enriching experience. We look forward to carrying these learnings forward and continuing our journey towards building more inclusive and compassionate spaces for all.
