Indian Development Foundation is a leading national NGO committed to Health, Education and Development. Formerly known as Indian Leprosy Foundation, we started our national work in leprosy eradication programme during 1984. Massive nation-wide health awareness programme for over two decades has helped in reaching the goal of leprosy elimination. We have rechristened ourselves as Indian Development

Foundation (IDF) and diversified our roles with enlarged objectives for a nation-building programme. IDF is a self-reliant NGO in India. IDF has over 100 Associate Projects scattered all over India providing services to the citizens without any discrimination. Apart from leprosy programmes, IDF also extends its services to health, education and development, since we believe that these two sectors contribute greatly towards enhancing the nation and the economy. IDF sponsors education for the underprivileged. We have 190+ Bal Gurukuls/ Empowerment programmes (Dec 2015) spread across India catering education to more than 10000 students under its wings. Our goal is to establish 500 Bal Gurukuls by 2020. IDF has launched Student Leadership Programme a national movement to engineer knowledge bank to create leaders for a better tomorrow. IDF has set up a Centre of Excellence to provide soft skill training and enhance the employability factor.

Nourishing Communities, Together!
Zoetis India Capability Center, Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Indian Development Foundation (IDF) , donated generously dry ration to support the residents of our partner homes Centre for Social Service (CSS) and Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust (KGNMT) in Hyderabad.

A big thank you to Kiran Ganapathiraju and Vishal Gade, who visited CSS , and Roshan Bhattarai and Srikanth Bathula, who visited the KGNMT , to personally hand over the essential supplies.

The donation included over 1,000 Kgs of essentials like rice, atta, pulses, and oil, ensuring food security for the inmates.

It's partnerships like these that strengthen our mission to empower and support those in need. Thank you, Zoetis for standing with us!

Indian Development Foundation, in collaboration with Inner World Counselling, brought a powerful session to The Shriram Universal School, Hyderabad.

Led by the insightful Dr. Mamtha Satish, we had over 120 students leaning in to learn about self-awareness and emotional well-being. The energy in the auditorium at The Shriram Universal School, Hyderabad, was absolutely electric today! With over 120 bright minds packed into the room, the session wasn't just a lecture—it was a conversation. From the front row to the back, the engagement was incredible.
