It's sure to be a special evening as bring together live music, creativity and community in a safe, inclusive and vibrant outdoor setting for

Headline Act, BABYRAT are one of Ireland’s fastest-rising new bands, cutting through the noise with razor-sharp riffs, anthemic choruses and fearless energy. Blending a sound somewhere between The Strokes and Olivia Rodrigo. They’ve already opened for The Coronas at the INEC Arena and played packed shows at Other Voices and Ireland Music Week. With a run of summer dates ahead—including All Together Now and Live at the Marquee with Bell X1—BABYRAT are firmly on the rise.

Delegates from Galway City and Galway County Comhairlí na nÓg made the early start this week for Dáil na nÓg- the National Youth Parliament in Leinster House. There was significant debate in the chambers and the topics to be progressed for the next 2 years by the National Executive Committee are RSE in schools and the Irish language.

A big thank you to our outgoing National Executive Reps David and Gabi for their commitment over the last 2 years. We look forward to the incoming Committee and their work on the new topics for the next 2 years.

Each local authority collaborates with a local youth service to deliver a youth council funded by the Department of Children, Disability and Equality.

This we are celebrating the vital role of youth work in supporting young people to better understand power in society, recognising where it is shared
, equal or unequal, and encouraging them to think critically about the world around them. Youth work creates spaces where young people can listen to different, and even conflicting voices, with openness and without judgement. Through encouragement, guidance and real opportunities for participation, youth workers help amplify young voices, turning ideas into action.
That’s what Youth Work For All is all about: empowering every young person to be heard.

Join us in Corrach Buí Community Centre this Wednesday with An Coimisiún Toghcháin - The Electoral Commission of Ireland for a voter registration day. There will be a voter registration station and a mock polling station where staff from The Electoral Commission will walk you through what it will look like to cast your vote in the coming Galway West by-election.
