Good evening everyone… The Magic of Menlo 2023 was a great success once again… We are delighted to announce that we will be donating a total of €3732 to the Galway Sick Kids Foundation.. This event would not be possible without the support of local businesses as well as the many volunteers who so kindly give their time to assist us in the running of the event. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following people. To the Healy family for once again allowing us to use the beautiful thatch cottage, the Glynn family who have very kindly allowed us to use their marquee for the past few years. A big thanks to the 32nd Galway - Menlo Scouts for also providing us with a fabulous tent for the event. These are so important in the running of the event as we all know the weather, particularly in the west isn’t always on our side. A big thank you to our main sponsor this year which was McHughs Traditional Pub & Restaurant. I would like to make a special mention to Martin from The Full Duck Cafe who has so generously donated all refreshments to the event every year, since it began in 2020. I would like to thank the students and teachers from Colaiste Bhaile Chlair who performed fabulous music on Sunday evening. I would like to thank each and every volunteer who helped us out in any way; it would not be possible without you. Finally, I would like to thank all of you in the community and those who travelled from surrounding areas who once again showed your support for this event. Sunday evening was truly something special, an atmosphere that was hard to describe… it really was magic. Just one week to go… 🎅🏻🥰🎄 We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our wonderful sponsors. Firstly we would like to thank the main sponsors.. With only three weeks to go until Santa arrives here in Menlo we are very very busy with preparations.. 🎄🥰 we are excited to announce that this year we will be hosting market stalls in the cottage yard.. we have a number of local businesses running stalls at the event.. the stalls will open on December 10th and 11th from 2-6… Be sure to come by and check them out and soak up some of the festive atmosphere 🎄🎄
