We are pleased to share our 2026โ€“2028.
This strategy marks the first phase of a ten-year organisational journey. It sets out how we will lead societal change and respond to growing challenges faced by people in our community, from homelessness and domestic abuse to isolation among older people.

Over the next three years, we will focus on:
โœจ & โ€“ Being an impact-oriented organisation, whose work is evidence-based and underpinned by trauma-informed practice.
๐Ÿ“Š & โ€“ Being a learning organisation that evidences the social and economic impact of our services and interventions.
๐Ÿ’ก & โ€“ Strengthening our policy-influencing capacity, driving prevention and innovation.

is for a community where every person is safe, connected and has the opportunity to thrive.

We are grateful to everyone whose input helped shape this strategy, especially our clients, staff, volunteers and partners.

Violence against women is at crisis point.
As a member of the Observatory on , we are calling for urgent, sustained action to end violence against women and girls.
The upcoming review is a critical moment for Ireland to demonstrate real progress and commitment.
Our priority is clear: a fully resourced 4th National Strategy on domestic, sexual and gender based violence. The current strategy is coming to an end, and survivors cannot wait.
Every agency has a role to play and must be held accountable.

A better life starts with one moment of support, one open door, one person choosing to help. That person could be you.
Today in Galway, too many families and individuals are impacted by the homelessness crisis, domestic abuse continues to devastate lives, and older people still face loneliness and isolation.

Your support helps a family, woman, child, or older person in our community take steps toward a better life.

๐Ÿ’Ÿ โ‚ฌ25 can provide essential supplies in a crisis.
๐Ÿ’Ÿ โ‚ฌ60 can help a family move into their own home.
๐Ÿ’Ÿ โ‚ฌ120 can support home visits for an older person who is isolated.

Donate today and help us be there when it matters most.
