Cancer Care West is a cancer patient and family care organisation whose aim is to enhance patient and family care and well being in a holistic way, and in support of conventional medical treatment and interventions. The Charity also undertakes research on care for patients and families and also undertakes educational and awareness initiatives in this area. The Charity's activities and supports see

A massive thank you to the students and teachers in St. Joseph’s Patrician College ‘The Bish’ for supporting us through their Annual 5k Run again this year. Shout out to 13 year old Elin Mulhall from Furbo who recently raised an absolutely incredible €10,774.17 for our cancer support services! 👍
Elin raised these funds by cutting over 14inchs off his hair ✂️ raising over €21k for us and the Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust 💙
Elin decided to undertake this incredible fundraising initiative in memory of his late auntie Mary Ann 💜
He even took part in an interview on Galway Bay FM to chat about his fundraiser!! 📻 And received fantastic support from his wide circle of family, friends, school and sports clubs.
