Early Learning Initiative The Early Learning Initiative at NCI is a community based programme, that provides integrated support

Developed in collaboration with local community, our programme is divided into two main sections:

Strand One: Early Learning has a focus on families with children from 0 to 6 years old and involves intensive engagement with parents and early years care and education providers. Strand Two: Stretch to Learn is designed for families with children age 4+ years, supporting and progressing children and parents through the education system.

Congratulations to all of our Discover University 2026 Graduates!

Yesterday marked our final day of Discover University for 2026, our students showcased all of their hard work, presenting to judges from local companies, and celebrating with our graduation celebration!

A big thank you to NCI President, Gina Quin, for welcoming families and presenting certificates to our graduates. Another thank you to our volunteers from Citco, EXL, Maples Group, Deloitte, KPMG, Arthur Cox, and Trinity College for their support in judging students' final projects.

Today, students went on tours, participated in activities, and listened to chats about college and next steps after graduation! 🎓

After this eventful morning, students continued to work on their projects and got ready for our final project showcase event tomorrow morning! 📣📣

We can't believe that the programme is almost finished!

A big thank you to EXL for providing a wonderful company tour/chat, Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience for giving students more information about the psychology and the work that is being studied, and Conor Yeates from NCI's Marketing Dept for his talk on college and next steps.

Day 5 complete! ✅

As students came back to Discover University for our final week, they spend the morning working on their projects with the help of our NCI Project Leads.

Later they were able to practice their presenting skills in front of judges for our Dragon's Den event! A huge thank you to our volunteers from EXL, Arthur Cox, Deloitte, KPMG, and Maples! 😃📣

We are looking forward to our last couple of days as students prepare for their Project Showcase event on Wednesday! 🎉🎓

Happy Friday! Day four complete! ✅

To end our first week of fun and exciting activities, we headed over to Trinity Sports Centre! Where we practiced fencing & rock climbing skills! 🏅🤺

Students continued to work on their projects, and we finished off our day with a fun quiz and moonwalking competition!! 🌟

Thank you all for a wonderful week and we are looking forward to next week as we continue the learning & fun! 😃
