As the weather turns colder, this verse feels close to home for us. It's the heart of everything we do at The Salvation Army, meeting people where they are, and responding to their most basic needs with compassion, not judgement.

A meal. A warm coat. A place to come in from the cold. Small acts, but they mean everything to someone who's struggling. This autumn, we're reminded once again why this work matters.
