🎶 What a run of concerts in St. Anne's Park! 🎶

From Kingfishr to Amble, CMAT to David Byrne, The 2 Johnnies to Snow Patrol, our volunteers from St John Ambulance Ireland were there every step of the way, helping keep thousands of music fans safe.

While the crowds were busy singing along, our crews were busy making sure everyone got home safely. Whether it was a minor injury, a welfare check, or simply helping someone who had a little too much "Run" left in them after a long day, our volunteers were ready to help.

We weathered every forecast with Snow Patrol level determination, stayed "Not Like I Used To" after plenty of long shifts, and proved that when it comes to event medical cover, we're definitely not "The Last Time" you'll see us this summer!

A huge thank you to every volunteer who gave up their time, energy, and weekends to support these fantastic events. Your professionalism, compassion, and teamwork make all the difference.

Here's to many more great nights of music, community spirit, and keeping the show on the road.

🚴‍♂️ Rás Tailteann 2026: Done & Dusted! 🏁

A massive shoutout and a huge thank you to the incredible volunteers from St John Ambulance Drogheda and St John Ambulance Raheny and St John Ambulance Hammond Lane who joined forces over the last five days to provide top-tier medical cover for the 71st edition of the legendary Rás Tailteann!

From the starting line in Portlaoise right through the grueling climbs of the Wicklow Mountains, all the way to yesterday’s thrilling, high-speed final circuit finish in Dunboyne, our combined crews were on the road keeping the riders, support teams, and spectators safe.

It was an intense 785km of fast-paced racing, but our dedicated first responders, EMTs, and ambulance crews were there every wheel change of the way, working seamlessly together to ensure the highest standard of care.

Huge congratulations to all the cyclists who tackled the roads of Ireland this week, and a special nod to our own members for their professionalism, long hours, and commitment to the community.
Fantastic teamwork all round! 🤝🚑

As darkness turned to dawn this morning, our members proudly took part in various Darkness Into Light events across their communities. 💛

Together, we walked in support, remembrance, hope, and solidarity for everyone impacted by mental health struggles and su***de. Every step taken was a reminder that no one should ever have to face darkness alone.

It was inspiring to see so many people come together, friends, families, colleagues, and communities all united by compassion and understanding. Events like these show the true strength of connection and the importance of continuing conversations around mental health.

A huge well done and thank you to all our members who represented us so proudly today, and to everyone who organised, supported, and participated in these incredible events.

From darkness comes light. 🌅
