GenSHE Project - Health Decoding Lecture: HPV testing and cervical cancer screening
Cervical cancer is closely related to persistent infection with high-risk HPV (human papillomavirus). Since early HPV infection often presents with no obvious symptoms, regular screening is crucial for early detection and effective prevention of cervical cancer.
To raise public awareness of HPV and cervical cancer prevention and protect women's health, YWCA is organizing the "GenSHE Project - Health Decoding Lecture: HPV testing and cervical cancer screening" A professor from the University of Hong Kong will explain the causes, medical knowledge, and prevention methods of HPV infection and cervical cancer. Urine tests for cervical cancer screening will also be provided on-site. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Details are as follows:

Note: The HPV urine test for this lecture is provided and arranged by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Hong Kong, and Phase Scientific for medical analysis and research purposes. If the test result is positive or further follow-up is required, the relevant organization will discuss referral arrangements with the participant.
