We are the biggest group of stick-wielding, hockey-playing ladies in Hong Kong!

Since 1993, WIHO (Women’s Ice Hockey Organization), is the largest group of stick-wielding women playing ice hockey in Hong Kong. Ice hockey has been the national sport in Canada for over a century and “the coolest game on the earth” has spread to all areas of the world, including Asia. Our focus is to introduce the women in this region to a completely new sporting experience. WIHO welcomes any in

terested players of any gender, age, skill level and nationality. Today, WIHO has become the organization in Hong Kong that players go to truly develop their game. We are a non-profit group that aims to bring enthusiastic people together from various backgrounds and give each person an opportunity to try out this addictive game. In addition to the casual atmosphere of the learning experience, WIHO does take the sport to the competitive level and organizes teams to participate in various leagues and tournaments in the region.

A BIG thanks for those who helped make Hong Kong’s 2025 IIHF World Girls’s Ice Hockey Weekend a smashing success! Special call out to the Helpers who came out earlier to set up, the Coaches, and of course those always behind the scenes.

We had over 100 participants including 70 plus that were outside of our programs. Even some last minute drop-in Players. The future of women’s ice hockey is looking bright 🤩

The 2025-26 season may have just started, but team WIHO Elite already have our first piece of hardware! 🏆

The 19th HKAHC Invitational Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament was a blast as always, and we’ve loved catching up with old friends and new from teams Taiyuan Tigers Hockey Club, Kingpeng Hockey Club and Silver Seals.

Congratulations on the gold, team! On to the next one!

The best of luck to the Hong Kong, China U18 Women’s Ice Hockey Team as they head to Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia for the 2025 U-Series China National Youth Ice Hockey Chamionship,
Women’s U18. They will be facing teams from Beijing, Harbin, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Sichuan and Qiqihar. 💪🏻🏒

Wishing our WIHO 🏒players best of luck at the 2025 IIHF Women’s World Championship Division IIB in Dunedin, New Zealand 🇳🇿!

The Hong Kong, China Women’s Ice Hockey Team will be playing against Australia 🇦🇺, Belgium 🇧🇪, New Zealand 🇳🇿, Türkiye 🇹🇷 and Ukraine 🇺🇦 from 14-20 April.
