Lamma Animal Welfare Centre (LAWC) is a registered charity, run by a group of committed volunteers with an aim to improve conditions for all living things on this lovely island and beyond, with a particular focus on homeless animals.

LAWC is proud of being the cornerstone partner of the SPCA’s Cat Colony Care Programme. Our volunteers have helped hundreds of feral cats in the past 25 years the CCCP has been running, and we are still continuing our TNR work here.

南丫島動物保護組織是香港愛護動物協會貓隻領域護理計劃之始創成員之一。於這個計劃下，25年來我們的義工團隊幫助過數以百計的流浪貓，至今「捕捉、絕育、放回」的工作仍在進行中。

These 3-weeks old kittens were abandoned outside a Lamma shop, Pets Village, this morning, in a covered box and covered by a plastic bag. We are so sorry to see such irresponsible behaviour. Luckily the kind shop owner was there to rescue them in time before they suffocate. Please, if you can’t afford to have more kittens, spay your cat(s)!

These kittens were rescued on Lamma and now looking for homes. Kittens are around 5 weeks old. Leave a comment or message us for details if anyone can give the kittens a good home.
