Berwyn and Dee Pony Club The Berwyn and Dee branch of The Pony Club - in and around the Welsh border with North Shropshire We will always be happy to hear from you.

Berwyn & Dee hold frequent Pony Club rallies, which are great places to learn, have fun and make friends. We host Pony Club Camp, fun days, social events along with training for Show Jumping, Dressage, Eventing, Mounted Games and Tetrathlon to name but a few. Berwyn and Dee is a very active branch in all the Equestrian Events with teams entered in competitions for Show Jumping, Dressage, Eventing,

📣 VOLUNTEERS WANTED – BERWYN & DEE BRANCH OF THE PONY CLUB 🐴

Could you help lead the future of Berwyn & Dee?

Berwyn & Dee Branch is looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers to join its leadership team in the roles of:

⭐ District Commissioner (DC) / Joint District Commissioners
⭐ Assistant District Commissioner (ADC)

This is a fantastic opportunity to become more involved with the Branch and help shape an exciting, welcoming and successful Pony Club experience for our members.

You do not need to do everything yourself. The strength of a successful branch comes from a good team of volunteers working together, sharing responsibilities and supporting one another.

We are looking for people who are:

🐴 Passionate about The Pony Club and what it offers young people
🤝 Approachable, supportive and happy to work as part of a team
💡 Full of enthusiasm and willing to bring forward new ideas
📅 Keen to help organise rallies, training, camps, competitions and social activities
🌟 Committed to providing members with opportunities to learn, compete, have fun and make lasting memories
💙 Willing to support volunteers, coaches, parents and members across the Branch

Previous Pony Club leadership experience can be helpful, but you don’t need to know everything from day one. Support and guidance are available, and the most important things are enthusiasm, teamwork and a genuine desire to see the Branch thrive.

Being a DC, Joint DC or ADC can be incredibly rewarding. You get the opportunity to watch members develop in confidence and ability, support families on their Pony Club journey and help create the experiences that young people will remember for years to come.

🏆 Pony Club Championships – what a week! 🏆

We couldn’t be prouder of our fabulous members, who represented the branch brilliantly across Tetrathlon, Mounted Games, Show Jumping and Dressage. 🌟

🏃‍♀️ Tetrathlon

• Junior Girls: Lily finished 23rd out of over 80, with a fantastic 920 shoot and a fabulous cross-country round.
• Open Girls: Carys produced a clear round over a very challenging cross-country course to finish a very credible 25th. 👏

🐎 Mounted Games

• Pairs: Martha and Ivy competed amongst the top 24 pairs in Pony Club UK, finishing a respectable 19th.
• Seniors: Lily, Lili-Mai, Mair, Harriet and Ella reached the final stage in the afternoon and finished 4th overall – an incredible achievement! They are improving every year. 🌟

🏇 Show Jumping

• 1m Individual: Sophie and the fabulous Sox delivered an outstanding performance to finish an incredible 2nd! 🥈🌟
• Team: Sophie, Emma and Llinos represented us brilliantly in the 1m team competition, with both Sophie and Emma jumping clear rounds.
• 1.10m Individual: Emma also produced a clear round. 🌟

💃 Dressage

• Martha and Emily represented us brilliantly, with Martha competing in the Novice and Emily in the Open, both putting in good performances and doing the branch proud.

A special shout-out to Lily and Martha, who competed in two disciplines.

A huge well done to every single one of you for your hard work, determination and fantastic performances. We are incredibly proud of you all! 💚🏆
