Today we joined other Berwyn Division members for a fun day at Chirk Castle. The girls thoroughly enjoyed helping a dragon by completing tasks exploring the castle, playing games and making crafts. A huge thank you to the division team for organising such a fantastic day.

This week the girls completed the fajita fun skill builder. We adapted it to make delicious pizza and everyone enjoyed grating cheese, cutting tomatoes and spreading tomato purée. Any non vegetarians added ham. Most of the girls ate the pizza once it was cooked but a few wanted to take it home.

1st Llangollen Brownies recently visited the Llangollen Foodshare to learn about their work and handover the food they’d brought from Aldi while completing the shop till you drop skill builder the previous week.

We started by visiting the hub on Market Street and then walked up to the youth club to see their new home. The brownies weighed the bags of food before unpacking them and placing the items on the shelves.

They had lots of questions and Steph at the Foodshare was very welcoming, spending time with them to share what the Foodshare does.
A big thank you to Steph
