Thanks to all who came to our Public Assembly today at St Nathaniels Church in Platt Bridge.

Lots of conversations on Platt Bridge as a Town Centre and lots of other discussions too.

Thanks to Be The Change Youth project in Bolton for hosting the Locality Power of Community event today.

Was inspired by their work and their space. Lots of ideas to bring back to Platt Bridge and the communities plans for a youth provision. Hopefully we can get some young people visiting soon.

WLCC is seeking to appoint up to 3new Trustees who will act as Board members for the Charity.

We are open to anyone who is interested in bring a Charity Trustee and / or feels they have skills to help the Charity.

We are also looking for Trustees who have s:

- Passion for Neighbourhoods (in particular Abram Ward, Hindley)
- Passion for supporting Community Businesses and Social Enterprises

Previous experience of being a Charity trustee is desirable but not essential.

A massive thanks to Floors fur thee and Milliken & Company , for their support in helping us with Carpet tiles and fitting, in one of our spaces at our Tudor House building in Hindley.

This particular space will be used as a Food Pantry led by Humanity First who will be providing this provision alongside our work with CraftHive Cic and Armed Forces Community HQ CIC and Thrive CIC
