🎉 What a fantastic day at Belong Wigan! 🎉

Today we celebrated an incredible achievement as Belong at Home has been rated Outstanding for its home care service – a recognition that only a small percentage of home care providers ever achieve! 🌟

We are immensely proud of our dedicated team, whose hard work, compassion and commitment make such a difference to the lives of our customers every day. This achievement truly reflects the exceptional care they provide.

To mark the occasion, we enjoyed a smashing celebration with staff and customers, filled with laughter, music and plenty of fun. A special highlight was Mike and me providing the entertainment with a few songs! 🎤🎶

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this success. Here’s to continuing to deliver outstanding care and support to our wonderful community.

Today, our customers enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Runway Visitor Park at Manchester Airport! ✈️

Everyone had a wonderful time watching the planes take off and land while enjoying the excitement of the airport atmosphere. We also treated ourselves to a lovely meal from the café, which was enjoyed by all.

There were plenty of smiles, great conversations, and lots of plane spotting throughout the day. It was a brilliant outing, and everyone had such a lovely time making memories together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us – we can’t wait for our next adventure! 💙

Yesterday afternoon, our customers had a wonderful time getting creative in the venue by making their very own pitta bread pizzas! 🍕👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

From choosing their favourite toppings to seeing their delicious creations come to life, it was a fun-filled activity enjoyed by everyone. The smiles said it all! 😊

A big well done to all our budding chefs – your pizzas looked fantastic and tasted even better! 🍅🧀🌶️

"Our Mum recently passed away after almost 9 years as a resident of Belong Wigan. She has always been treated with such wonderful care and compassion by all the staff, through all the stages of dementia. We cannot praise everyone at Belong highly enough they are amazing not only extremely professional at their job, but they go above and beyond everyday for all the residents, the households feel like one big family. The staff and management have been so supportive to us as a family over the years , never more so than during Mums final few days, We will never forget their kindness it meant so much to us.
