Just as our community garden is starting to look amazing and full of flowers someone has decided to help themselves to some of our lavender plants 😡.
We have worked so hard to create this beautiful space for our community and I can't believe someone would do this. They have also decided to take plants from the council pots too. 😡

We are excited to announce that there is some government funding available for Ince to help make our community a better place to live. 😀
The area has been allocated £500.000 as part of pride in place impact. If you have any ideas what the funds could be used for please share below. Also if you would like to fill out the survey please DM us so we can send you the link. (The more the better) It needs to be done by 14th June.. we are going to suggest that the park in Lower ince gets a makeover 😀.

***Please NO comments about the mosque...as we can't do anything about it, this is to update people about the cross.**

Today the Cross of st Mary's church in Lower Ince was taking down from the building but it was taking down by the church as we spoke with them earlier. It is being held in a church in wigan to keep it safe and they will be keeping us updated on the plans for it.
We have some ideas for it and we would like to keep it in the area and maybe make it a feature for the area as I know lots of people have strong connections with the church. We will be in contact with the council and church to discuss our ideas for the cross if possible ⛪️

Hi everyone. We have been contacted by Lili who works at ITV News. She is hoping to speak to people about what life in springview (makerfield) is like and what people want to see changed in the area with all what is happening with the election coming up. They are keen to speak to all ages 18+ They will be in the area next week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
