We had a lovely evening on the water on Tuesday! 🚣‍♂️🚣‍♀️

Our cadets enjoyed a fantastic rowing session, making the most of the great weather while developing their skills on the water.

It's always great to see everyone working hard and having fun together.

Well done to all who attended, we can't wait to get back out on the water again tomorrow! ⚓

A huge well done to all of the cadets who took part in today's rowing competition.

Congratulations to Wakefield Sea Cadets for their hard work and excellent team spirit throughout the event. Your dedication to training and willingness to give your best is something to be proud of.

We would also like to congratulate all of the other participating units. It was fantastic to see so many cadets competing, supporting one another, and demonstrating the values of the Sea Cadet Corps.

We're especially proud to say that Wakefield Sea Cadets are bringing home three new shiny trophies to add to the cabinet! 🏆🏆🏆

Whether you came home with medals, personal bests, or simply valuable experience, every cadet should be proud of their achievements. Well done to everyone involved and thank you to the volunteers, staff, and supporters who helped make the event a success. 🛶🏆

🚣‍♂️ Wakefield Sea Cadets – Rowing Regatta Training Session 🚣‍♀️

If you are on one of our rowing teams and would like to attend the upcoming training session ahead of the Rowing Regatta, please ask your parent/guardian to check their emails for full details.

This is a great opportunity to get some extra training in, improve your rowing skills, and prepare for the regatta with the rest of the team.

If your parent/guardian has not received an email, please ask them to contact us by email and we will be happy to provide the details.

After enjoying the hot weather and relaxed dress last week, we are now back in uniform this week.

Please ensure all cadets arrive in the correct uniform and remember to bring a spare set of clothes, a towel, a pair of trainers or water shoes, and a water bottle.

We look forward to seeing everyone back at the unit for another great week of activities! ⚓️🌊

☀️ Due to the hot weather this week at Wakefield Sea Cadets, cadets attending on both Tuesday and Friday are to wear civvies that are suitable for boating instead of uniform ☀️

There is no need to bring uniform at all for either evenings.

Please make sure cadets bring:
💧 A water bottle
🧴 Sun cream
🧢 A hat
👕 A spare pair of clothing

We want everyone to stay safe, cool and hydrated while enjoying the activities this week! ⚓☀️
